David proactively found us when we were parking so we could start our whisky tour early. What an experience! David is incredibly knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing his love of whisky. We even had a dram of whisky waiting for us to welcome us into our comfortable and well appointed room. We did the half-day whisky tour and had three stops but wished we had done the full day tour. David knows where to go and the distillery experiences we had were so much better than the more commercial places we visited later in our trip. Breakfast was truly memorable and it is worth staying just for that. Everything was cooked perfectly and it was interesting to see his whisky collection displayed. David had great suggestions for the continuation of our drive north and had good recommendations for dinner locally. Overall a lovely stay with Beate and David and we look forward to returning and spending more time in Speyside.
